Roll Me Up and Smoke Me - Willie Nelson - 2011
Lyrics

Roll me up and smoke me when I die
And if anyone don't like it, just look 'em in the eye
Say I didn't come here, and I ain't leavin'
So don't sit around and cry
Just roll me up and smoke me when I die.

You won't see no sad and teary eyes
When I get my wings and it's my time to fly
Just call my friends and tell them
There's a party, come on by
And just roll me up and smoke me when I die.

Roll me up and smoke me when I die
And if anyone don't like it, just look 'em in the eye
Say I didn't come here, and I ain't leavin'
So don't sit around and cry
Just roll me up and smoke me when I die.

Well just take me out and build a roaring fire
And just roll me in the flames for about an hour
And then pull me out and twist me up
And point me towards the sky
And roll me up and smoke me when I die.

Roll me up and smoke me when I die
And if anyone don't like it, just look 'em in the eye
Say I didn't come here, and I ain't leavin'
So don't sit around and cry
Just roll me up and smoke me when I die.

I didn't come here, and I ain't leavin'
So don't sit around and cry
Just roll me up and smoke me when I die.

Trivia

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to 4/20, the magical day where meteorologists all over the country are predicting a giant cloud of marijuana smoke that will engulf the continental states.

In honor of the holiday (highliday? sorry) stoner Hall of Famers Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, Kris Kristofferson and Jamey Johnson have recorded a nice little country tune entitled "Roll Me Up."

"Roll me up and smoke me when I die" intones Willie at the beginning of the track. At this point, out of editorial consciousness, we feel it is our duty to warn that given the smorgasbord of illicit substances Willie has likely consumed, ingesting him into your lungs would probably cause a very, very potent high.

Snoop Dogg also sings on the track. Yep, he's crooning his heart out in the Texas country stylings of Willie and company. Vibe to the track over at Nelson's website, where you can watch a digi-joint get smoked while you listen.

What a legend this man is. It's so cool to see his sister, Bobbie, still on the ivories and his harmonica player still in the band after 30+ years.
